동사로는 급락하다 명사로는 급락으로 쓰인다.

 

영자경제신문에서 많이 볼 수 있는 표현으로 아래와 같은 예문이 있다.

예문 2에 나오는 Plummet (v. 곤두박질치다, 급락하다) 역시 함께 자주 쓰이는 표현이다.
